Les raffineries américaines produisent bien plus de diesel que les Américains n'en consomment. Mais chaque baril est déjà réservé. Entre la hausse de la demande intérieure, les importants engagements à l'exportation et le fonctionnement quasi-saturé des raffineries, les États-Unis puisent dans leurs propres stocks, au lieu d'en dégager un excédent. Et comme le démontre Karl W.
