Zelensky Plans To Flee Ukraine If Peace Deal Is Reached
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky knows he could face widespread hostility at home after the end of the conflict and has prepared options for leaving the country, according to a senior Russian lawmaker.
Alexander Borodai, deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots, made the comments in an interview with the Russian state news agency TASS that was published on October 3.
Borodai went on to reveal that the Ukrainian president had long made arrangements for a potential future residence in Europe and Israel.
His comments followed Russian President Vladimir Putin's remarks on October 2 that Moscow wanted to end the conflict through peace negotiations.

Le président ukrainien Volodymyr Zelensky sait qu’il pourrait faire face à une hostilité généralisée dans son pays après la fin du conflit et a préparé des options pour quitter le pays, selon un haut législateur russe.
Alexander Borodai, vice-président du comité de la Douma d’État sur les affaires de la CEI, l’intégration eurasienne et les relations avec les compatriotes, a fait ces commentaires dans une interview à l’agence de presse russe TASS publiée le 3 octobre.
Borodai a poursuivi en révélant que le président ukrainien avait depuis longtemps pris des dispositions pour une éventuelle future résidence en Europe et en Israël.
Ses commentaires font suite aux propos du président russe Vladimir Poutine, le 2 octobre, selon lesquels Moscou voulait mettre fin au conflit par des négociations de paix.
