Mark Carney: A Day in the Life of a War Carnival CEO

Carney, the burlesque-dancing pirate in bed with Uncle Sam, happily grabs a chainsaw and clearcuts social programs in order to quadruple Canada’s proNATO war budget. Pledging to spend $100 billion on 12 Arctic submarines (equipped to fire cruise missiles and other weapons at land targets in Russia!), the Carney Class of war profiteers seem to think that such extremely provocative military spending will help Canadian security.
Carney has arranged a meeting on Sept. 14-15, in downtown Toronto, of what The Globe & Mail business paper has called “the largest group of financial decision-makers ever to assemble in Canada.” Bankers and corporate leaders, including CEOs from top weapons manufacturers, leading polluters, and officials from companies managing $120 trillion in funds will all be there to cash in.
In response, activist groups are holding a creative “Carnival Against Capitalism” on Monday, Sept 14, at 6 pm, in Toronto (on the shores of Lake Ontario). This film was made to help expose Carney and to promote that protest.

Marco Rubio Goes to China

Because US Secretary of State Marco Rubio was banned from entering China, diplomats there are said to have found a clever solution to get around this problem: they tweaked his name. This film alleges that China used an anagram to let Rubio sidestep the ban. I don’t want to spoil the fun by giving away the punchline, so you’ll just have to watch the flic to find out. Rest assured that if China had used this actual anagram, there could have been a major diplomatic incident.

For generations, the Pentagon has made a global name for America by killing millions of innocent civilians. They used to try to hide their war crimes from voters. But now, as blunt as bag of axes, the dullard-in-chief has vowed to “destroy the enemy as viciously as possible from moment one… that’s why we see ourselves as part of this negotiation as well. We negotiate with bombs.” (Secretary-of-War Pete Hegseth, Mar. 24, 2026).
Condemning the Looking-Glass World
at the UN Security Council

I had to channel my inner Quixote into making this little film when the words “surrealism,” “theater of the absurd” and “looking-glass world” all shook the UN Security Council (UNSC) in the same day (March 11). These phrases were deployed by Russia’s UN envoy, Vassily Nebenzia, when he blasted a UNSC resolution that condemned Iran but did not even mention (let alone criticize) the US and Israel for their unprovoked bombardment of the Islamic Republic.

This revolutionary creation myth about social change, stars a dung beetle named Sisyphus. Condemned by the Gods of Mount Olympus to join bureaucrats from the Ministry of Pooh Pushers, he was forced to assist them, ad nauseum, in rolling their BS uphill. Meanwhile, us activists are forever condemned to expose the stinking lies spread by silly-talking propagandists. Thanks to our counternarratives, when dung rollers get their crappy stories up to the mountaintop, they come crashing back down to earth. Their official lies must then repackaged into slightly less-odious narratives, and we activists must again expose them. The struggle continues…

This film continues the epic tale of dung-rolling BS artists and further asserts that the putrid lies of rancid-smelling official narratives can be used quite effectively to fertilize the blossoming of bouquets of humorous satire. Exemplified by the assassinated anti-Imperialist president of Mozambique, Samora Machel, this ongoing struggle is further illustrated by the neocolonial role played by Canada in aiding and abetting the US war machine for many decades.
